Dear Karin and Treats For Troops,
Thank you for your support and all the goods. The Paratroopers of the 82 Combat Avn Brigade, from the 82nd Airborne Division are very grateful for your support.
I personally love the cookies. It reminds me of home. My wife bakes cookies for my son when he is sad.
Someone made me cookies, I am very grateful.
It's the little gestures like this that gives us the strength to fight on.
I grew up in Florida, Fort Lauderdale.
I don't have a my-space or facebook. Maybe I need to get on the ball. My old man has Facebook. hehehee.
I hope this year brings great fortune to you and those you care about.

I just received this tragic news. She is in our prayers. This war is just UGLY :-(
Dear Karin,
I want to thank you and your wonderful Volunteers for the care package that you sent my daughter-in-law, Eduviges (Duvi) Wolf for Christmas.
My husband and I recieved the care package yesterday. It was rerouted to our address in the US.
The reason I'm emailing you is to let you know, she was killed on October 25, 2009 by a rocket propelled grenade.
Please continue doing what you are doing and send these wonderful care package because our troops do truly love receiving them.
My son, Duvi's husband was also in Afghanistan at the same time. My husband and I have been taking care of their two young daughters during their tour.
It is truly heart warming to know that so many people care about our troops.
BIG Thank you to you and to your wonderful group of people.

I just received about 200 pounds of "left over" Halloween candy from this brownie troop in NJ
Dear Karin,
Our Brownie Troop 1070 hopes this candy will help our Troops feel a little love from home! Our girls were so excited to donate their candy to our brave men and women. This is such a wonderful cause. I am glad you came up with the idea to collect this candy.
Sincerely,
Brownie Troop 1070 of NJ and their friends.
